Diane Neubauer wrapped up her third season with the Patriots in 2024.
In 2024, GA finished fifth at Inter-Ac Championships, with Nieve Keitel '27 taking sixth overall. GA finished seventh at PAISAA Championships. Keitel and Zoey Clark '26 were named to the All-League team.
In 2023, the Patriots placed fifth at Inter-Ac Championships, with Nieve Keitel '27 placing third overall. The team took sixth at Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Championships. GA ended the year by defeating PAISAA Champions Penn Charter on GA/PC Day. Keitel was named to the All-Inter-Ac Team.
During her first season, Germantown Academy went 4-4 overall and 4-3 against Inter-Academic Athletic League opponents. Due to injuries sustained on the course, GA did not have enough runners finish to record a score at the league championship race. However, individual success was had by Lana Karpf '23, who took 10th overall. The Patriots bounced back at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Championship, finishing fifth overall. Four student-athletes were named to All-Inter-Ac teams in 2022.
Neubauer got her start as an Assistant Coach at what was then Cabrini College, helping with responsibilities for the both the mens and womens teams. Most recently, she was the Head Coach for the boys and girls teams at Mountain Home High School in Mountain Home, Idaho, where she helped coach three athletes to medals at the State Meet. Neubauer also brings tons of informal experience as well in the form of volunteer service. She was the leader of a military mothers running group and was a site liaison and coach for Girls on the Run, an after-school program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength with lessons that emphasize the important connection between physical and emotional health.
A four-time Boston Marathon qualifier and first place finisher in her age group at the 2022 Chicago Marathon, Neubauer has been involved with the sport for almost two decades as an athlete and a coach. She also holds a Road Runners of America Coaching Level 1 Certification and is an Elite runner for the McKirdy Trained High Performance team.
As a student-athlete at Cabrini, she was a three-time captain and was named to the All-Colonial States Athletic Conference 1st Team in 2009 after a 3rd place finish at the CSAC Championship meet. Neubauer was also named CSAC Runner of the Week four times during her career and was once named to the CSAC Runners Honor Roll. She graduated in 2011 Magna Cum Laude from Cabrini with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Home Course
The spectator-friendly 5K course, designed in 2012, features challenging terrain as it winds its way around all of GA's athletic fields. Though it starts on the paved walkways through The Preserve, the course quickly switches to grass and eventually wooded paths as it enters into the Sisters' Woods for two hilly loops. Runners complete a final lap of the upper fields before a dramatic finish on the track inside Carey Stadium.
